I use the imagery of the miniature paper theater and the language of ornamentation to create miniature stages, artists books and paper objects. I am inspired by the golden age of illustration, particularly the illustrated novels published between 1860 and the mid 1900’s. I explore the use of ornament and symbolism typical during this golden age in my work. I work primarily with screenprint, lithography and photopolymer.
